Coyote Feature: Tim's E36

The ST. Louis bros came down for KY! Rd. 2 on June 12th, I was glad to see a little variety at our event thanks to them. Aside from the usual S-chassis crowd we had a sweet JZX90 Chaser come out as well as this little gem.

This is Tim's '95 325is Alpine, car serves as his daily and weekend track whore. It's a good example of a tastefully modified and cleannnn E36. I love this thing.

Footwork is composed of Ground Control Track/School suspension kit with 650 (F)/750 (R)springs, M3 RTAB's, new control arms, and bushings. Borbet Type A's 17x8.5 (+13) widen the her stance while the Hawk Blue race pads behind them keep braking in check.

The Sparco Prodrive seat is paired with a Schroth 4-point harness to ensure that Tim never loses his focus or grip on his really small Sparco 300 wheel ;-).

Engine wise she's relatively stock (still a lot of fun)featuring a Conforti Intake, Active Autowerks Chip, and M3 exhaust.

Tim was cool enough to let me take it out for a few runs at the event. That being my first time ever driving let alone sliding a E36 I was very impressed. This car was so much fun! He has me seriously contemplating getting one for a daily! Here's a sneak peak of how the car looks now, he picked up a LTW High Rise wing, M3 "Twist" side skirts, as well as DJ Auto headlights with Angel Eyes & HIDs. He also tells me he's got a set of white faced 17x8(F)/17x9(R) BBS RS's. Car is going to look fly!

Well this is different! Myyyy wife (Borat style)

Project GT30

It's finally time, time for GT30 awesomeness. I had a few things work out for me and its looking like it's finally going to happen. The T25 is choking Whitey's built motor sooo much it's upsetting.

New parts I'm getting:

-GT3071R w/ .64 A/R
-SARD 850cc Injectors
-ISIS Intake Plenum
-Clutch disc for my GMAX twin plate
-HKS Actuator
-New flywheel bolts
-N62 MAF

I'm really excited to see what she ends up making, this turbo is going to pair nicely with setup of my engine. Considering before it made 240whp @ 10 psi, on a shitty T25. Basically 60whp over stock. Impressed me :-)

The GT30 should pull some nice numbers while keeping the boost low. I'm tearing her apart tomorrow, T25 is sold, as well as the Tomei 555's. I'll post pics then :-)

Quick Whitey update before KY! Rd. 2

Aside from the Z-Brakes and bracing I made in late May, I went ahead and addresses some other things on my list. Pics are crappy and I didn't take any of the finished project but I made some fender braces for her.

I had flurry of ideas come to mind but this ended up being the most "efficient" method in regards to effectiveness and time. I contemplated making your traditional triangle shaped pieces but decided against making such a large piece given I specifically wanted it to be a "weld on" unit. After pitching Bryan's fender brace idea to him, I thought about doing it to Whitey but also decided against that due to having to redo a BUNCH of wiring. Annnd I didn't really feel like doing that in the middle of the season lol.

I don't have pics yet but the bars were painted the traditional Metcalf Coyote Satin Purple :-). The rest of the night was dedicated to drunken painting and drinking with fun bros. Here's me telling a story or something I dunno..

And Julien, AKA Island Trouble

Louis, AKA BigBelch

And Jeremy, AKA WHATCHUSAYBOUTMYMOMMA?!

Also drunken garage floor chalk portraits...

The next day I decided to give her a bath, she be durty n shit yo.

Overall the combined bracing of the fender, trunk, and rear bumper have made a great impact. Soooo stable through turns, as well as giving you a neck ache every time you drive it lol. Very pleased with the fender braces, simply design yield great results. Taking order now ;-).

I'm obsessed with this car...

Ahh the Gun Sports 13, I first saw this car maybe 5 years ago? Back in high school I would skip class and to the library to watch MSC videos and save pics on my flashdrive <---GEEK lol. This car has came a long way since then, popping up on numerous sites and magazines the owner has really taken his 13 to a different level. Although you can see in older pics he's always had a GT Styling bug :-). Perhaps we could say he's been a pioneer in that field.

Here's a couple I dug up off my PC, old pics of the car. Stock body, with center mounted wing and canards; I believe here is where he started dipping his feet into GT Styling :-).
